#AperitiviDalMondo
Aperitivi dal Mondo (Aperitifs from Around the World), a regular feature of ViVi's summer, is back again this year! This year, our platters from faraway lands, paired with fabulous drinks, will no longer be just at ViVi in Villa Pamphili, but also at Le Serre by ViVi and ViVi in Piazza Navona.
Why Aperitifs from Around the World? Because cooking isn't just a way of eating, it's also history, influences, culture, surprises, and conviviality. From South America to Asia, the world boasts a mouth-watering culinary richness. ViVi has selected the world's best cuisines that best reflect its Healthy Everyday philosophy. Our chefs have then captured these immense culinary traditions in a small but incredibly delicious platter. A platter to enjoy in company, sipping a good drink and traveling to faraway lands. Here's our travel itinerary!

PLAN
MEXICO – A cuisine that is a World Heritage Site
Wednesday, June 29th 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
By Chefs Simone Oriti & Cristina Galletti
Intense flavors, spices, and abundant plant-based proteins: Mexican cuisine has ancient roots, dating back to pre-Hispanic traditions—the use of chili peppers in cooking, for example, is an indigenous legacy. Burritos, nachos, and tacos—Mexican dishes feature abundant vegetables and are colorful, truly Good Mood Food. In 2010, UNESCO declared this country's cuisine a World Heritage Site, and ViVi menus have always featured a touch of Mexico—those who know us know that our guacamole is a staple.

PERSIA – Meat, spices and hospitality
Wednesday, July 6th 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
By Chef Massimiliano Miconi
With a history that stretches back to the dawn of time, Iranian cuisine is one of the most sophisticated in the world. Mildly spicy and lightly spiced, it's characterized by the use of two key ingredients: saffron and Indian lemon. Meat is seasoned with nuts and fruit, and rice is paired with aromatic herb-infused stews. Saffron rice and meat kebabs are among the most popular dishes, but soups, meatballs, and grilled fish are also popular. ViVi adores this cuisine, which embodies the spirit of sharing food.

VIETNAM – Oriental Roots with a Dash of France
Wednesday, July 13th 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
By Chefs Giulia Raiola and Christian Nicocia
Vietnamese is a mild, oriental cuisine, heavily influenced by Chinese cuisine and a touch of French colonialism. It's fresh, rich in aromatic herbs and healthy vegetables. Noodles, Vietnamese spring rolls, tofu. This #HealthyEveryday cuisine couldn't be missing from our Aperitivo dal Mondo!

LEBANON – Meze, 1000 bites of flavor
Wednesday, July 20th 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
By Chef Jean Carlos Fugueroa
We all eat Lebanese food without realizing it: hummus, falafel, and babaghanoush are all typical Lebanese dishes that have always been present on our tables. Because Lebanese cuisine is healthy, with a strong plant-based component, full of legumes and nuts. It shares most of its ingredients with Middle Eastern cuisine and is characterized by mezes, the numerous small dishes served rather than a large main dish. Our Lebanese platter will be a meze, with numerous bites to explore this irresistible plant-based cuisine.

INDIA – The Spice Route
Wednesday, July 27, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
By Chef Mozzamal Mozzi
The aroma of spices—turmeric and cumin, coriander, curry, chili pepper, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and saffron. The fragrance of naan (bread), the deliciousness of samosas (fried stuffed triangles), and the deliciousness of tandoori masala (chicken cooked in a clay pot). In India, cuisine is an extraordinary journey through a myriad of worlds, from the recipes of the Himalayan mountains to the coconut-scented cuisine of the southern backwaters.

PERU – The most varied cuisine in the world
Wednesday, August 3, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
By Chef Carlos Leon
Peruvian cuisine boasts the largest number of traditional dishes in the world—491!—and a 5,000-year history that dates back to the pre-Inca period and extends to the colonial era, which also influenced Spanish cuisine. This kaleidoscopic cuisine also draws on African and Asian influences, so much so that it's often described as a "coexistence of foods and flavors from four continents." It's the cuisine of the celebrated fish ceviche, chili peppers, bright colors, and spicy dishes. A true feast for the eyes!

GREECE – The Flavors of Mediterranean Cuisine
Wednesday, August 10th 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
By Chefs Daniele Bonizzoni and Santiago Moreno
Greek cuisine is a genuine one, made of strong flavors and aromas reminiscent of a thousand islands scattered like a handful of stars across the Mediterranean Sea. The traditional mezedes (appetizers), dolmades (rolls), the ever-present tzatziki (yogurt and cucumber dip), the delicious fresh vegetable dips, moussaka (eggplant pie), and taramosalata (fish roe)—every dish of this delicious cuisine takes us back to our deepest Mediterranean roots. The Mediterranean diet is renowned for being among the healthiest in the world, as well as being absolutely irresistible.
