Precious drops that enclose a world of scents and sensations: Nevia Faré essential oils arrive at ViVi Bistrot.
Nevia Faré, a professional and expert in cosmetics and health, will guide us through the world of essential oils and their uses in a series of free wellness seminars. She has created a line of vitamin-infused waters flavored with essential oils for us.
Three recipes will be presented in the first seminar, on Saturday, May 11th at 5:00 PM at ViVi Bistrot Rinascente Tritone. Naturally, you can always find our refreshing lemon, lavender, and grapefruit-flavored vitamin waters in our colorful Juice Bar.

Detox with the vitamin water?
Eliminating toxins from within is possible! Nevia Faré explains that simply diluting a few drops of lemon essential oil in water will benefit your body. And guess what, you can even make it at home. All you need is a few slices of lemon, mint leaves, and cucumber with a few drops of lemon essential oil for a detoxifying effect! Lemon oil promotes skin rejuvenation, helps fight cellulite, and soothes anxiety disorders. For a slightly pinker vitamin water, let's use strawberries instead! With a few drops of lavender essential oil, we'll achieve an emotional detox effect! Lavender oil will relieve stress and promote relaxation by relaxing muscles. The last tasty tip for a vitamin water? Pineapple, grapefruit, and ginger! Add a few drops of grapefruit essential oil and voilà! The essential oil extracted from this fruit will have a purifying and detoxifying effect!

Essential oils: what are they?
Essential oils are natural extracts derived from the seeds, stems, roots, flowers, bark, and other parts of plants. Have you ever smelled a rose or a freshly picked and peeled orange? If so, you've been exposed to the aromatic experience of essential oils. In addition to their distinctive scents and odors, plants contain essential oils within them. These perform a protective function that defends them from predators and disease. Essential oils have been used for centuries in many cultures for their medical and therapeutic benefits. Modern scientific studies and the trend toward holistic techniques that focus on natural wellness solutions are opening the door for individuals and families to an alternative approach to self-care.
What are essential oils used for?
The applications of essential oils are vast. Here's a list of some of their uses:

How can essential oils be used?
Aromatic Use
Use it in a diffuser, or inhale a drop from the palm of your hands. The results are immediate: more open breathing, increased energy, improved mood and concentration, and a peaceful and relaxing sleep. During the winter, it also prevents colds and flu, and in the spring, it relieves allergies.
Topical Use
Apply a drop to the soles of your feet, or dilute with vegetable oil. All that's left to do is spread the lotion over the affected areas of skin: it will soothe irritation, providing relief from tense and overworked muscles, and will also ease widespread pain throughout the body.
Internal Use
Place a drop on the roof of your mouth, in an empty capsule, or in water. The result will be better oral, throat, and digestive health.
Remember that for any use, 1 or 2 drops are enough because they are extremely pure and highly concentrated. They are composed of tiny molecules, penetrate the cell membrane very quickly, and act within seconds.
